At 5 p.m., a woman on the 3600 block of West Shakespeare Ave., in Chicago’s Logan Square neighborhood, was attacked and robbed.
The incident occurred in the victim’s laundry room, which is shared by other tenants in the apartment building. The assailant took the woman’s gold chain and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The suspect was described as African-American, 5’9”, medium build, with a snake tattoo on his left arm. He was wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.
