CTA Cuts Power to Blue Line, Service Delayed

Early morning services were halted on the CTA Blue Line, after a man jumped on the train tracks.

Police and CTA employees searched for the offender for approximately 20 to 30 minutes.

At 2:28 a.m., CTA employees found the man walking the tracks at the Montrose Blue Line station, 4600 W. Montrose Ave. The employees held the man until police arrived.

The man was described as an African-American man wearing a blue jacket.
