When police arrived, they thought several people had been shot inside the club. Later, it was confirmed that one person had been shot.
The shooter is described as an African-American man, 24 to 25-years-old, wearing a black vest with 3 buttons and black and white stripes.
Witnesses said the man fled in an unknown direction.
The 37 or 38-year-old shooting victim was taken to Stroger Hospital with two gunshot wounds. He is listed in serious condition.
