Part of the roof from a North Side building fell onto a parked car.
The incident was reported at 7:31 p.m. and occurred on the 2700 block of North Halsted Street in Lincoln Park.
A witness told police a "huge chuck" of cement broke away from the top of the building, and hit a SUV parked in front of the structure.
According to police dispatch reports, the building is located on the southeast corner of Halsted and Diversey, and is right next door to a bar and restaurant called Hidden Shamrock at 2723 North Halsted.
No injuries have been reported
UPDATE: The debris that feel from the Lincoln Park building did not fall from the roof, said police. A few bricks from the second floor of the building gave way, said authorities.
