A lot of Chicagoans, including the thieves, are stockpiling necessities in case the forecasted blizzard makes it impossible to get around.
And next to a good heating system, I guess nothing will keep you warm like a stolen bottle of booze.
Authorities said a crook walked into Uptown's AB Food & Liquor store at 4826 North Broadway Street and stole a bottle of wine. The crime was reported around 7:54 p.m.
The offender was described as a white man wearing a striped shirt and a gray and blue jacket. He was last seen walking northbound on Broadway.
