Second Man Shot in the Head in East Garfield Park

In less than three days, two men, in separate shootings, have been shot in the head in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood.

According to Chicago Breaking News, a man in his twenties was shot in the head on the 600 block of North Monticello Avenue. The shooting occurred around 3 p.m.

The shooting victim was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.

Saturday, January 29, 2011, around 1:30 a.m., another man was shot in the head at 501 North Kedzie Avenue, near the intersection of North Kedzie Avenue and West Franklin Boulevard.

The media never reported that shooting.
