Police are trying to figure out who stabbed a man on Christmas eve - leaving him clinging to life.
At 12:09 a.m., police were notified that a seriously wounded man was taken to Norwegian Hospital, 1044 North Francisco Avenue. The man was stabbed in the neck.
Police said the stabbing occurred near Pioneer Food & Liquor at 3959 West Armitage Avenue, near the intersection of Armitage and Pulaski Road.
Well past midnight, investigators were in the area trying to locate evidence.
According to an officer at Norwegian Hospital, the victim is in serious condition.
