Kentucky Man Kills Mysterious Animal: Chupacabra?

LEBANON JUNCTION, KY (Nelson County) ---- On December 18, 2010, Mark Cothren shot and killed a critter that seems to have America talking. Talking and scratching our heads, too.

When the strange looking creature stumbled out of the forest and into Cothren's front yard on Mount Carmel Church Road, Cothren killed the animal because he didn't know what it was.

Some people say the hairless thingamabob with gray wrinkled skin, whiskers, and a possum's tail, resembles a legendary creature called a Chupacabra - or in English - a goat sucker.

Supposedly, a Chupacabra is a mysterious creature that roams the earth sucking blood from livestock, especially goats. In others words, old Chuppy is the animal kingdom's Dracula.

But Cothren isn't the first person to find this... whatever it is. In January of 2010, Tony Potter found a similar creature on a Wise County, Texas golf course. That video has been included in this article, as well.

  4. He killed it just because he didn't know what kind of animal it was? Wow. What kind of logic is that?
