The crime occurred on the 6400 block of North Western Avenue near the intersection of Western and Devon. The victim, along with several police officers were at Swedish Covenant Hospital around 11:32 p.m.
According to police, the injured man is in good condition and will probably be released from the hospital tonight.
Authorities said several men dressed in all black clothing, stabbed the victim and stole $165.00. A more detailed description of the offenders was not provided.
