A CTA passenger was robbed at the Roosevelt/State Red Line station at 1167 South State Street.
Police said the strong armed robbery occurred around 8 p.m.
The offender was described as an African-American man wearing a black, puffy jacket with a “glossy finish” on it.
Because the crime happened so quickly, the victim wasn’t able to provide a detailed description of the offender.
