At a certain age, no one should have to worry about dodging bullets. But tell that to the elderly Chicago woman who was shot in the Washington Park neighborhood.
November 29, 2010, around 6:20 p.m, a 72-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man were shot while walking down the street on the 6100 block of South Michigan Avenue.
According to my sources, the shooting happened near St. Edmund’s Tower, a senior citizen housing complex at 6141 South Michigan Avenue.
According to a police officer on the scene, the victims were shot in the ankle and leg.
Investigators recovered a weapon underneath a porch at the rear of a nearby building.
Both shooting victims were taken to an area hospital and listed in good condition. No arrests have been made.

Are you fricking kidding me? Now it's seniors? Where is the shame from the community where these thugs live? Step to the plate and take your own neighborhoods back! Stop hiding behind closed doors and letting these thugs take over! Stop the so called "code of silence" it's actually a dishonorable code. TAKE YOUR STREETS BACK! STOP WITH THE "I KNOW NOTTING" attitude! There is no honor or pride in your neighborhoods when seniors and other innocent people are being shot and killed. What the hell is the matter with everyone?
ReplyDeletetowanda, a couple of years ago, a little girl stopped to tie her disabled sister's shoelace, and was shot in the head and killed. If that wasn't enough to change things - I suspect shooting old ladies is a cakewalk.
ReplyDeleteI feel so badly for the good people who are trapped living with homicidal maniacs.
Seniors who live in places like the Lawrence House are now living out their final years in Negro Hell, what a way to go. Nursing homes, too, all the black CNAs who steal anything they can, starting with their credit cards and finally stealing their clothes, all the while administrative staff says it's all part of their dementia. A lot of people need to be on Death Row who are responsible for situations like the two I mentioned. On the spot Judge Dredd-style execution would be better.
