The incident occurred November 27, 2010, around 9:46 p.m., near the intersection of West Hirsch Street and North Kedvale Avenue.
According to fellow blogger, Timmy, at the Avondale/Logan Square Crime Blog, the 28-year-old pregnant woman was shot in the back, and the bullet exited her stomach.
The male offender was wearing a black hoodie and a Knicks hat.
At 9:53 p.m., police apprehended a suspect in the shooting. No further details are available.
