A Chicago police officer was injured during a foot pursuit in the Rogers Park neighborhood.
Around 1:23 a.m., the officer was chasing a suspect, jumped over a fence, and hurt himself. The specifics of the officer’s injuries are unknown, but an ambulance was called to the scene.
We’re not sure exactly where the officer was when he was injured, but a suspect was arrested near the intersection of West Morse Ave. and North Greenview Ave.
We wish the officer a speedy recovery.
