The driver and injured passenger were rushed to Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston with non-life threatening injuries.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation and the structural damage to the furniture store was reportedly minimal to non-existent. Most of the damage was done to the storefront property's windows.
No pedestrians were injured and the people who live above the store were unharmed.
