Police Catch Suspected Uptown Burglar

A man wanted for burglary on the 4500 block of North Malden Street, in Chicago’s Uptown Neighborhood, was arrested this evening. 

The suspect, who was described as an older, white male, was apprehended at 9:47 p.m. at 1312 West Wilson Ave., moments after the burglary was reported. 

NOTE: On October 10, 2010, around 5 p.m., an off-duty police officer’s home on the 4500 block of North Malden Street, was also burglarized. You can read that report by clicking HERE.
