This is the kind of story that will make you sick to your stomach.

Police say on October 8, 2010, 23-year-old Evan Sachs stabbed an 8-year-old boy in the back, as he played video games at a Long Island Dave & Busters.

According to investigators, Sachs was carrying a note that indicated he was hunting for a little boy to kill, and was stalking Long Island malls looking for a victim.

When the 8-year-old's parents weren't looking, Sachs slithered up behind the boy, grabbed him, and stabbed him repeatedly with a 4-inch knife.

Before Sachs could flee the scene, his hands dripping with blood, the boy's father and a witness to the stabbing, subdued the troubled man and held him until police arrived.

The little boy suffered a punctured lung and other non-life-threatening injures. Luckily, he is expected to survive.
