Munchies Store Owner Shot and Killed: 950 N. Orleans St.


The owner of Munchies Market was shot and killed in an apparent robbery. The incident occurred this evening at 950 N. Orleans Street, on Chicago's Near North Side.

The shooting victim was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

ACB news is reporting that the store owner was shot 6 times.

Based on information obtained by Chicago News Report, the thief or thieves, got away with an estimated $2,000.00.

NOTE: It's also being reported that the 54-year-old man, who was shot and killed at Munchies was an employee - not the owner.
