CTA Employee Threatened at Addison Red Line “L” Station

A CTA clerk called police after a man made verbal threats at a Red Line train station.

The incident occurred around 3:33 a.m. at the Addison "L" station, 940 W. Addison Street.

The CTA employee said an intoxicated, African American man, wearing a black t-shirt and light colored jeans, made threats and refused to leave the area.

Because officers in the area were swamped with work, dispatch made several request for police to respond.

As of 4:03 a.m., I have no idea if the police ever showed up.
