Near South Side: Woman's purse snatched

A woman's purse was snatched on Chicago's Near South Side, according to police.

There are few details, but  here's what we know.

On December 22, 2013, around 12:42 p.m., a robbery was reported somewhere between the 2000 block of South Wabash Avenue and the 2100 block of South Wabash Avenue.

Citing preliminary reports, a black male wearing all gray clothing, snatched a woman's purse.

After the mugging, the thief fled the scene in a small black or blue car, occupied by two other males, said an investigating officer.

The getaway vehicle was last seen driving through a west alley, somewhere near Michigan Avenue.

At the time of this report, it appears the muggers were still at large.
