In his most recent email to Chicago News Report, disgraced police detective, Richard A. Milz, accused us of facilitating "harrassment [sic] by electronic means"... but the results of a CNR investigation into Detective Milz's online activities, suggest Milz should think twice before pointing his finger.
Back in April of 2011, Milz was accused of donning a pair of spandex pants and sexually harassing a female employee at Yale Insurance, 1206 West Victoria Street, near Broadway and Victoria, in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood.
According to various news reports, Milz was found guilty of disorderly conduct and ordered to undergo a sex offender evaluation.
In a March 11, 2013, email to Chicago News Report, Milz called the April 1, 2011, incident an "undeniably huge lapse of judgment on his part" and "respectfully" asked CNR to deleted the story.
We did not respond to Officer Milz's request.
Nearly a month later, we received a second email from Milz:
"To whom it may concern:
This will be my second email asking for your help in deleting and preventing further harrasment by electronic means that is occuring through your blog. The information that you are allowing to be posted can not be explianed other than meant to harrass and offend. Many of the comments contain false or misleading information that are libelaous and malicious publication printed for the purpose of defaming (damaging) myself and memebers of my family. The comments have included stalking of my activites and now harrasing, false and lewd comments regarding myself and family.
I am simply asking one of two things.
Please delete the posting and comments section in its entirity. or Please delete the comments contained in the comment section of your blog and prevent further comments from being posted.
Here is the link to the article and comment section from your blog. Please let me know if I can answer any questions you may have that will help or assist in this matter. Please let me know if you need any further information regarding this matter. I would appreciate a response to this email in regards to your plan of action regarding this matter. I thank you in advance for your help in stopping this harresmanent."
Because CNR doesn't take kindly to being accused of enabling illegal activity, we decided to put our accuser under a microscopic... guess what we found!
Personal identifying information linked to Detective Milz is associated with a recent report of online harassment.
The report, which was filed on April 5, 2013, indicates the harasser engaged in hate speech and threats, aimed at homosexuals.
We hear the threats were extremely violent in nature.
Information obtained by CNR indicates the report stems from an incident on Yahoo.com.
Chicago News Report is making every effort to locate the person who filed the complaint.

He is entitlef to the money that he put into the pension plus a small percentage of interest. He would also have to be 50 years old in order to collect a pension if he was eligible. Good news is he cant get tax payers money. He is after all a convicted criminal in Cook County.

ReplyDeleteWhile gay couples should have the same legal rights as straight couples because we need to be encouraging committed relationships among homosexuals. Anything that helps build stable families is a good thing for society as a whole. In addition, I believe children in foster homes and orphanages should have the opportunity to live in loving homes, even if the parents are of the same sex. Ultimately, the ideal solution is to get government out of marriage but that may not be entirely possible.
ReplyDeleteHowever, there are some things we cannot throw away even as we expand legal privileges for homosexual couples and that is freedom of conscience and religious liberty. Any gay marriage or civil union legislation that does not have clear conscience protections for businesses and adoption agencies, among others, needs to be defeated and opposed by all those who believe in limited government and individual liberty. We cannot give legal privileges to a very small minority while depriving the right of freedom of conscience to religious believers.
Ironically, one of the reasons why I support gay marriage is to protect the freedom of conscience of those more liberally inclined churches and faiths to marry same sex couples and to have them have the same legal weight as heterosexual marriages. Can we truly call attacks on freedom of religion and conscience progress?
When government absolutely has to act, it must err on the side of individual liberty. Gay marriage should be no exception. While I do believe that we must grant the same legal privileges to same sex couples as we do heterosexual couples, we must protect religious liberty as well.
