What this crime racially motivated, or were a trio of non-black taggers simply taking advantage of a fresh canvas?
Police are looking for several suspects who vandalized a business on Chicago’s North Side.
Around 8:41 p.m., an eyewitness spotted three males scribbling graffiti on the outside of the Black Ensemble Theater Cultural Center, 4450 North Clark Street, near the Uptown, Ravenswood neighborhood border.
Citing police dispatch reports, the suspects were described as one white male in his 20s and two Hispanic males, one of them in his 30s and weighing about 200 lbs.
The white suspect has a shaved head and he was wearing a black t-shirt under a gray hooded sweatshirt with white shoes and blue jeans.
Authorities said the incident was caught on a security camera.
At the time of this report, the nature of the graffiti was unclear.
The Black Ensemble Theater could not be reached for comments.

DeleteYeah, it is rather peculiar. I saw an advertisement for one of their plays on TV and, believe it or not, I really wanted to see it. I was prepared to drive to some ghetto area to the Black Ensemble Theater then realized they were basically right around the corner. Great! Until, I found out the ticket prices. No deal.

They keep refinancing them for equal to or more than they paid for them upto 12 years ago.
