Chicago's drastic cuts in mental healthcare services is taking its toll!
A man with an obvious death wish, dove in front of an oncoming #12 Roosevelt bus at the intersection of South State Street and East Roosevelt Road in the city's South Loop neighborhood.
Although there was a considerable distance between the amateur stuntman and the approaching vehicle, if the bus driver had been distracted, or decided to speed up... this story would probably have a very tragic ending.
Some people are just stupid.

ReplyDeleteNo, it's true. The cuts in mental health care funds (pilfered by your politicians and business owners so they can pay for their 3rd mortages or buy stainless steel appliances and granite countertops) is shining through with "world class".

No, the career "workers" at the bars on Halsted solicited me for sex, got turned down (politely) and became forever scorned. "What do YOU want?" was the comment made after my no show. "Simply a drink", I responded. It became fun after that watching them play bag the regular (in more ways than one). There's a cool one out there though. I'm sure he was clued in with my tipping simply to support (but no more, they get big heads and think you came there to see them in particular or something so I give each "worker" a fair chance by switching it up. I like a little variety in personalities anyway and certainly don't want to lead them on). Like seriously, who wants to create animosity in a place that you like to frequent? I'm smarter than the bartender. Anyway, an actual real bartender/customer rapport has been established now. We're totally opposite but I really like his style and professionalism. He's never hit me up for sex either.

I've been told I'm VERY handsome, especially by the twinks out there. Chicago IS a great place to reach "daddy" status. LOL.
It's just truly a shame how we're patronized by what should be "our own" while simply trying to support them.
