Man robbed under Rogers Park viaduct

A man was robbed at gunpoint underneath a Far North Side Rogers Park neighborhood viaduct, said police.

The robbery occurred around 1 a.m., beneath the overpass near West Howard Street and North Clark Street, said police.

Two male offenders, one of them armed with a revolver, stole the victim’s wallet containing various credit cards and approximately $15, said police.

One thief is Hispanic and he was wearing a red, white, and blue CUBS jersey, said authorities.

The second offender is black and he is about 5’10” and 150 pounds.

Citing police communications, the black suspect is the one who took the man’s wallet.

At the time of this report, the muggers were still at large.

  2. This occured in a part of town where I was like you feel like you are in Honduras and the next block its like a cross between Johannesburg and the lockup
