Four black men in their 30s were arrested for multiple random attacks in Chicago’s Wrigleyville, Lakeview neighborhood.
One incident occurred outside Exedus Lounge, 3477 North Clark Street, at Clark and Cornelia, around 1:12 a.m.
According to police dispatch reports, witnesses saw several black males jump out of a white, limousine SUV and randomly attack a white male and his girlfriend.
Subsequent reports stated a group of black males were randomly punching people on the street.
During the assaults, another male in the limo videotaped the flash-mob-style beatings, said police.
One cop at the scene described the incident as a “wilding”.
Police have charged Corey Simmons, 32; Alvin Goffin, 32; Edward Robinson, 31; and Donald Robinson, 31 in connection with the North Side mob attacks.
Four people were injured in the beatings -- one man's jaw was broken -- and an off-duty Chicago police officer also injured during the melee, said officials.
According to a Chicago Sun-Times article, the men's relatives said the suspects were shooting a rap video when several white people attacked them and assaulted them with racial slurs.

This doesnt surprise me frankly. Why do Tunney and the police condone the Boystown attacks?

The flash mobs are apparently moving north to other neighborhoods to avoid the heavy police presence of the near north side. Detroit, South Africa, you name it, blacks simply destroy every place they live in.

Intimidating people, attacking randomly: wilding has just become sport at this point. In the last few years it seemed like fewer, but more violent and high-profile attacks. This summer it seems more constant, but less intense: just the new reality of everyday life in Chicago.
They had a destination and a place to go thats the purpose of them being there...why would they waist their time on trash and renting limos ......so just deal with it cuz in time will show innocents..

ReplyDeleteFour men were being questioned tonight in connection with a mob attack of a crowd of people in Lakeview early this morning that left one man with a broken jaw and was videotaped by someone who was with the attackers, authorities said.
The attacks happened about 1:10 a.m. at Clark Street and Cornelia Avenue, just south of Wrigley Field, when between 8 and 10 people jumped out of a white stretch limousine, police said.
Several people from the limousine started punching and hitting another group of people, and someone who was with them began recording the attack on video, said Chicago News Affairs Officer Daniel O'Brien.
Following the attacks, a 27-year-old man was taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with head injuries, including a broken jaw, police said. Two other men, 22 and 27, also were injured and spoke to police, but were not taken to a hospital.
The most seriously injured man told police that three people came up to him and began punching him in the face, sending him to the ground, police said. The 22-year-old also was punched in the head by three men, he told police. The other 27-year-old was punched in the head and chest, also by three people.
Officers arrived on scene near 3500 N. Sheffield Ave. soon after and were flagged down by witnesses, who pointed out some of the attackers, including one man who was not wearing a shirt, police said. Officers were able to arrest four men, two age 32, two age 31, identified by victims, police said, adding that two of the four are on parole.
One officer suffered a knee injury when one of those identified as an attacker swung at the officer and struggled with the officer, O’Brien said.
The person captured the attack on video was with the attackers, but was not arrested. Police said the other attackers either fled in the limousine or on foot.
The four arrested could face felony charges of mob action, resisting arrest and aggravated battery, police said, but no charges have been filed against them as the investigation continued Sunday night by Area North detectives.
Boystown businesses "love those people" because they are tomorrow's $. Plain and simple. As an added bonus, they get to buy their drugs from them over the counter in Flakeview (rather than having to think twice before driving or riding the electric powered porta-potty a.k.a. "L" to their 'hood).

CNR: you say you heard of an incident at Irving / LSD... you're saying that the same people who this entire article is about at Clark/Cornelia weren't just there but they actually drove around and committed multiple beatings? It's pretty sad if the CPD cannot locate a white stretch SUV limo driving around lakeview, WHILE it's actually happening. How many could there possibly be to stop? This isn't a shortage of officers/manpower it's a failure on some other level within the CPD to actually do proper police work and effectively communicate with one-another.
