Victim knocked unconscious during Rogers Park robbery

A victim, described as a male Hispanic, was temporarily knocked unconscious during a robbery on Chicago’s Far North Side, said police.

The victim was attacked on the 1700 block of West Greenleaf Avenue, near Clark and Greenleaf, around 1:46 a.m.

The offenders were described as a heavy-set, black female and a black male wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The male suspect was apprehended and positively identified by the victim, said police.

A potential female suspect was stopped in front of PLS Check Cashers, a currency exchange at 7000 North Clark Street, near Clark and Lunt.

It’s unclear if the possible female suspect was identified by the victim.

While the victim's condition was unknown, an officer at the scene described the victim as “unsteady on his feet”.
