I sincerely hope each and everyone of you has a wonderful and prosperous New Year!
Every New Year's Eve, I stop whatever I am doing and listen to "Same Old Lang Syne" by the late great Dan Fogelberg. Although the song's lyrics tell a story that takes place on Christmas Eve, I have adopted this song as my official New Year's Eve song.
For me, "Same Old Lang Syne" is a song about forgiveness, letting go of the past, and moving forward. That makes it the perfect song for New Year's Eve!

Aw..Thank You Timothy. I wish the same for you and more. I love your site! It keeps me on my toes and, no, I'm not a ballerina;) "laughing until you cry" is good for the soul, isn't it? LOVE the song and the video and thanks for the "follow the bouncing ball" lyrics. I always knew most of them but not all of them. RIP Dan Folgelberg.
