Lakeview Gas Station Robbed at Gunpoint

A bit shy of 3 a.m., a north side gas station was robbed at gunpoint.

The robbery occurred at 1160 West Diversey Parkway, in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood.

The gas station attendant described the offenders as two African-American men. One thief was described as 18 to 20-years-old, 5’6” to 5’8”. The second man was approximately 20-years-old and 6-feet-tall. Both men were wearing black jackets.

The suspects fled the scene northbound; escaping with an unspecified amount of cash and cigarettes.
