The driver of the 2001, red Audi, that sparked a police car chase that started in Lakeview and ended in Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood, has been charged with attempted murder.
And that's not all.
According to Chicago Breaking News, 24-year-old Miguel Gonzalez was also charged with aggravated assault of a peace officer; aggravated fleeing of police causing injury; driving under the influence; carrying alcohol; and driving the wrong way on a one-way street.
When Lakeview officers were chasing Gonzalez, he made a u-turn and fled the scene, going the wrong way, on a one-way street; striking a police car.
Gonzalez and two other suspects were taken into custody at 3935 N. Marmora Ave., in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood.
