Alleged car thief arrested in Lakeview

A man was arrested in Chicago’s Lakeview neighborhood late Tuesday night after someone spotted him driving a stolen cab, said police.

On April 10, 2012, around 11:43 p.m., another cabdriver reported a stolen taxi near Clark and Newport on the city’s North Side.

Investigators said the driver of the stolen car was described as an “Arab” man with short hair.

Police chased the taxi southbound to the 3000 block of North Seminary Avenue, where the suspect ditched the vehicle in a nearby alley and fled on foot.

Around 11:50 p.m., police found the offender hiding beneath a porch at 3044 North Seminary Avenue.

A minute later, police deployed a taser and the suspect was placed under arrest.

The stolen taxi belongs to King Drive Cab Company, according to police dispatch reports.

  3. I don't have a problem with sand niqgers. Sure they stink bad and are terrorists, but they know how to control their women and they work instead of being on welfare. That's better than spook behavior. Spooks never pass up a chance to chimp out.
