Report: Man set on fire in West Ridge

A male victim was reportedly set on fire in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood.

Monday, around 9:47 p.m., police were notified that a male victim was on fire on the 6000 block of North Mozart Street, near Mozart and Glenlake, on the city’s North Side.

The 911 caller said the victim was on fire in front of a house.

At 9:54 p.m., a responding officer confirmed a male victim was set on fire, but the officer was still trying to get more information.

At 9:56 p.m., someone, presumably the same officer who verified the incident, requested a supervisor.

If more information becomes available, this article will be updated accordingly.

  2. Well, what's the one thing that Somalis and the people committing most of the violent crime in Chicago have in common?

    I'll give you a hint - it isn't a "winning personality."
