South Side: Man shot in the head on Western Avenue

Early Thursday morning, a male victim was shot in the head on Chicago’s South Side.

An officer at the scene said the victim “took one to the head”.

Around 3:30 a.m., the victim was standing in a parking lot on the 7200 block of South Western Avenue, near Western and West 72nd Street, when gunfire exploded, said investigators.

According to Google Maps, there is a Mobil gas station and a Mexican restaurant near the intersection.

At the time of this report, information regarding the shooter and the victim’s condition were not available.

  2. Pretty sad when you wish harm to your ex-hubby. I know the brother(Security guard). Be careful what you wish for cause Karma is a byatch and you are only wishing death to yourself or your children. Stop being a BBB(Bitter Black Byaatch) and move on lady. Life is too short.
