Some criminals are just downright greedy.
Not only did 22-year-old Darrion Grossley rob multiple victims, he sexually assaulted some of them, said police.
Grossley, who lives on the 4000 block of West Maypole Avenue on Chicago's West Side, was recently charged with eight counts of robbery, said authorities.
During two of the those holdups, Grossley, living up to at least part of his last name, sexually assaulted two of his victims, investigators said.
Most of Grossley's "community service" took place in the East Garfield Park neighborhood, near South Pulaski Road and West Madison Street, reports the Chicago Tribune.
According to the 22-year-old West Side man's Facebook page, he graduated from John Marshall High School in 2007 and he attended Malcom (sic) X College in 2010.

Society is to blame. Although this young scholar surely receives a rich array of free entitlements from the government, we should have done more. Perhaps the taxpayers can replace Obama-phones with iPhones so this poor misunderstood young man and many more of his ilk could spend more time studying and less time robbing and raping. On the bright side, even if convicted of his crimes, a Cook County judge will probably give him a stern lecture before sentencing him to probation. Or maybe the judge will really throw the book at him, and he may serve a third of his sentence for "good behavior" unless Gov. Quinn grants him a pardon first.
