We were at the beach and ready to leave when we noticed a helicopter hovering over the water. We saw a large group of people, fire trucks, and police gathering so we decided to go check it out. When we got close to the scene we noticed a body being pulled out of the water and cpr being performed on the body. The body was quickly placed on a stretcher and removed from the scene.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the additional information. Our condolences to the victim's family/friends.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, witnesses apparently told investigators that the victim was "swimming" in the water before he went under.
I don't know who would want to swim in water this cold!! My bets are the man fell in somehow and starting suffering from hypothermia. Due to the hypothermia he struggled to stay afloat and went under. The waves were not to strong today but strong enough to hold back a person trying to get into shore.
ReplyDeleteOur prayers go out to the victim's family and friends.
