Tuesday, around 12:13 a.m., police responded to a burglary at the Ida Crown Jewish Academy at 2828 West Pratt Boulevard, near Pratt and North California Avenue.
During their investigation, officers chased a male black suspect wearing a blue jacket and blue jeans through the school’s parking lot.
At the time of this report, at least one suspect was still inside the West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood high school.
A responding officer, via his police radio, said he observed a male trespasser wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt running through one of the school’s corridors.
By 12:25 a.m., authorities had cleared the 3rd floor of the North Side high school.
At 12:51 a.m., all three suspects were said to be in custody.
According to initial police dispatch reports, the offenders entered the school through a window on the west side of the property.
Dude West Ridge and West Rogers Park are not the same hood, nor is West Ridge is an enclave of West Rogers Park anymore. West Ridge is south of Devon Ave but west of Ridge Ave and northwest of West Edgewater. West Rogers Park is north of Devon Ave to Howard St and west of Ridge Ave. But yeah they right next to each other. Anyways, I'm sick of niggers on the North Side.
