
Around 10:36 p.m., a victim was robbed at the Thorndale CTA Red Line stop at 1118 West Thorndale Avenue in Chicago’s Edgewater neighborhood, said investigators.
Police said four male blacks in dark-colored clothing approached the victim and stole a The North Face backpack with a pair of hiking boots inside.
One offender is 6’2” to 6’4” and his three accomplices are 5’7” to 5’8”.
All four suspects are said to be 18 to 20-years-old.
At 10:51 p.m., an officer stopped a possible suspect at 5718 North Winthrop Avenue, who was later identified as a participant in the Thorndale “L” robbery, said authorities.
However, at the time of this report, police were still looking for three more offenders.
