A woman was stabbed on the city’s Far North Side Thursday morning, said police.
The alleged stabbing occurred around 5:27 a.m., near the intersection of West Devon and North Washtenaw Avenues in Chicago’s West Ridge, West Rogers Park neighborhood.
An ambulance was immediately rushed to the scene.
According to a responding officer, the woman, who was allegedly intoxicated, sustained a small cut on her hand.
During their investigation, the so-called victim became uncooperative and refused police services, said authorities.
At 6:13 a.m., someone spotted the same woman on the 2700 block of West Granville.
According to police dispatch, the woman was walking down the street wearing one shoe and screaming that she had been stabbed.

A resident at an Uptown neighborhood flophouse, reportedly pulled a gun on another tenant.
Around 5:41 a.m., police were called to the Wilson Men’s Hotel at 1124 West Wilson Avenue, after receiving an alleged 911 call from a front desk clerk.
At least two squad cars responded to the emergency call.
At 5:58 a.m., investigators at the Uptown hotel said they were looking for a man named Mario Lopez.
Lopez is about 5’5’, 190 pounds, has a shaved head and scruffy hair on his chin.

While officers were dealing with the situation at the Wilson Men’s Hotel, a sexual offense was reported at an Uptown CTA train station.
At 5:54 a.m., a man at the Red Line Argyle station, 1118 West Argyle, was reportedly exposing himself.
The offender, who was described as a male black, had been asked to leave the station, at least twice, said police.

I agree. I mean, when I moved to the city back in 2002, I knew that there are weirdos like that, and I braced myself for it. But after a while you get tired of them. One time I was standing at the corner of Clark and Diversey, and some guy was standing there talking to an invisible person, saying things like "I'm gonna break you, mutha fucka!!" The poor girl standing there waiting for the bus was looking at me like "What the hell?"
