
A group of older teens were armed with a gold-colored golf club, said a 911-caller.
Shortly thereafter, the same group moved into the Dominick’s parking lot at 424 West Division Street.
In addition to a golf club, one of the teens in parking lot was armed with a brick, said a second eyewitness.
It’s unclear if police made contact with Tuesday’s offenders.
Wednesday, October 5, 2011, at 7:44 p.m., a gang fight was reported at West Oak Street and North Hudson Avenue, about a block south of Seward Park.
Two large groups of teens were about to fight, said an officer at the scene.
The officer dispersed the crowd.
Once again, the gang regrouped in the Dominick’s parking lot at 424 West Division, where a full-blown brawl erupted.
Frightened customers fled the grocery store parking lot and flagged down a nearby police officer.
Authorities detained one suspect who was wearing a baseball cap with a red bill, a white shirt, and blue jeans.
It’s unclear if any arrests were made.

Here I thought it was my Dominick's on Howard. Glad to hear it is not. The Howard Dominicks has a police caps office next to it which helps keep the low lifes somewhat away. I thought this area on Division was gentrified? Aren't the projects all gone?
