'Pickpocket' steals laptop at downtown Starbucks


Customers at a downtown Chicago coffee shop reported an alleged pickpocket, around 8:03 p.m., said police.

The suspect was at Starbucks, 6 West Ohio Street, near State and Ohio, said police.

The offender was described as a black man wearing a black and maroon hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

When the thief realized the customers were aware of him, he snatched a computer and fled the scene, said investigators.

The criminal was last seen running westbound on Ohio.

    Happens all the time. The harmless "homeless" people are allowed to harrass decent working class people numerous times a day while they're just trying to just make a living too. They sometimes yell out "You MF White people kill me" because you won't (i.e. can't anyway) give them anything and, according to the fine CPD (or your liberal lack of law and order here) are "allowed to say that". And I told Ms. Smug CPD officer "you have a pitiful city here". Her response? "I agree".

    When martial law is declared downtown, anybody seen running in anything other than a sports bra or fruity little manshorts is going to be shot, and I'll be there, laughing my butt off.

    You cannot enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a fast food meal because the "homeless" swoop in and out of the place like moths buzzing a lightbulb. Always got a big god*amn smile on their face too, like you should be happy to see them. "Oh, it's my long lost friend, Stinky SkidMarx! Oh hey, buddy! Do you want a cup of coffee? How's that stock market working out for ya, huh?"
    Even better if it's a single toilet, locking bathroom they will move in and make it their apartment for the day, as a sickly person with IBS, this makes me want to punch them in the face. I lost count of how many times I've almost **it my pants because of one of them.

    I meant to say the coffee shop or fast food place has a single toilet, locking bathroom. The Bezazian library is notorious for this.
