Boystown: Thief with nose piercing wanted for robbery


Authorities are looking for a suspect who attacked and robbed a man in Chicago’s Lakeview, Boystown neighborhood.

The strong arm robbery occurred Tuesday around 1:40 a.m. on the 700 block of West Buckingham Place, near Halsted and Buckingham, said police.

The thief was described as a clean shaven male black, 25 to 35-years-old, with a large build.

The offender has high cheek bones, a nose piercing, and was last seen wearing a blue Hollister Co. hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans, said police.

No further details are available.

  1. It's been proven that it's in your best interest to stay away from people with tatoos and piercings. Happy PC and trendiness, Chicago for you're at least 15 years behind the rest of the world. I hadn't heard about Cher for 20 years until I moved here either.

    Things are only going to get worse people. Everyday the state of illinois releases thousands of criminals who have no job options when they get out. They aren't going to just stay on the south side. They are going to go where the prey is the easiest and the finacial payoffs are the highest.
