Woman hit by car in Ravenswood


A woman was struck by a vehicle in Chicago’s North Side, Ravenswood community, said police.

The apparent car accident happened around 12:21 p.m., on the 4600 block of North Paulina Street, near Paulina and Wilson, said police.

The victim, who was described as an adult female, was reportedly riding a bike when she was hit by a car.

The victim’s condition was not disclosed.

No further details are available.

  1. Some people should NOT have the ability to drive IF they can't pay attention to the road! Way too many pedestrians getting hit on residential streets. Way too many people involved in major accidents when the speed limit is 35MPH.

  2. Anyone know if she was wearing a helmet? Too many bike riders forgo a helmet thinking this will never happen to them. Please, your brain is worth protecting! Be smart about it.
