Random police calls: Alleged stabbing - Robbery reported


The following police calls were made August 27, 2011. The accuracy of these reports have not been verified; they are merely a log of the complainants made with the Chicago Police Department.

Stabbing

4:12 a.m. - A man was reportedly stabbed on the 2100 block of North Clybourn, said police dispatch.

The victim was purportedly stabbed with a "spike".

A subsequent report indicated the alleged stabbing might be related to a car break-in in the area.

Robbery

5:28 a.m. - A man called police after he was reportedly beaten and robbed in Lakeview.

The 911 caller said two to three black men mugged him on the 900 block of West Belmont Avenue.
