Car flips in North Side accident
At approximately 7:11 p.m., a car accident was reported in Chicago’s West Rogers Park neighborhood.
According to police dispatch, a vehicle hit a garage at 6111 and 6114 North Rockwell, slammed into a utility pole at 6120 North Rockwell, and struck several parked cars at 6159 North Talman.
The car came to a complete stop after it flipped over in an alley at Rockwell and Glenlake, said investigators.
According to an officer at the scene, the passengers inside the upside down vehicle were “bloody”, but conscious.
At 7:15 p.m., an officer requested more police cars to control the crowd gathered at the scene.
The injured parties were taken to St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, Illinois.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
