When a witness tried to help Waskowski, the attacker turned on him and stabbed him the back, reports Chicago Breaking News.
Waskowski and the man who tried to save her, were taken to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
The 67-year-old bar owner later died from her injuries.
Authorities believe Waskowski's death is domestic-related.
According to information obtained by Chicago News Report, police are looking for a 6'1" man who weighs about 300 pounds.
After the attack, the offender, who was still carrying the knife, jumped into a dark blue Cadillac and fled the scene.
Authorities have the alleged attacker's first and last name. Since he has not been formally charged with a crime, his identity has been withheld from this article.
Another wasted life. When people respect all of humanity, this violence may begin to dissipate. UNTIL then, all these ghetto thugs need to start filling up the Thompson Prison where they can do each other instead of the innocent people in our society.

The story has been updated on other sites. The attacker was her son, and the witness, was a man who was with Ms. Waskowski. Still very sad, but it wasn't a random attack.

ReplyDeleteUnfortunately her son was bi-polar and had been delusional off and on for the past decade. She had divorced her husband (Caesar) many years ago, and he had repeatedly proclaimed "If it takes me 20 years, I'm gonna kill that b####".
We suspect that Caesar spent the last decade fashioning his son into some sort of an assassin, and then sent him after her. They also found his body the same day at his house. She knew her son had been stalking her for some weeks and feared that something like this was coming her way.
I'm so very sorry that I wasn't there that night to save you Henya...I miss you.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry for your loss. How very tragic that 2 people in one family are dead and another one will probably spend his life in prison. It appears the father took advantage of his son's illness. Shameful.
