A child was struck by a vehicle in Chicago’s Uptown neighborhood, said police.
The incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. at Montrose Harbor, 640 West Montrose Avenue.
The child, identified as a 12-year-old girl, was hit by a car near a public restroom, said authorities.
According to an officer at the scene, the little girl sustained minor injuries.
She was taken to Weiss Memorial Hospital, 4646 North Marine Drive, for medical treatment.
