Rev. Jesse Jackson accused of harassing former gay employee and being on the down low?

Is Jesse Jackson a "homophobe" on the down low?

Hell have no fury like a gay man scorned.

Tommy R. Bennett, a former Rainbow Push employee, filed a wrongful termination complaint with the Chicago’s Commission on Human Relations back in 2010.

The allegations in the complaint are explosive.

Not only does Bennett claim that he was harassed by Rainbow Push staff members because he is gay, the former Reverend Jesse Jackson employee has also accused the good reverend of being on the down low, asking him for sex, and forcing him to perform demeaning tasks of a sexual nature.

According to information posted on The Windy City Times, Jackson once asked Bennett to rub an ointment between his thighs while he was sexually aroused and allegedly admitted to a homosexual affair with a gay high school teacher in his younger days.

From The Windy City Times:

"Rev. Jackson said, '[F]rom that gay teacher, I got a good grade, I got to use his car, I got ten dollars and I got my d*ck sucked.' Rev. Jackson said, '[T]hat's not gay, that is surviving.'"

Bennett reportedly told Windy City that he felt Jackson's comments meant he wanted to have sex with him.

Bennett also purports that Jackson forced him to pick up used condoms in hotel rooms after Jackson had sex with various women.

Jackson denied the allegations, calling them "hurtful and harmful to the progressive community".

  1. Jackson is a person who WISHED he were MLK and it wouldn't surprise me at all IF he were on the "low down". He doesn't seem to have a problem be married and having children from another woman other than his wife so why not do the swing thing?

"the progressive community"...I don't see progression, only steps back thanks to the ghetto thugs he seems to think are "good kids"...

  2. Maybe this explains why Jackson said he want to cut off Obama's balls. He wanted something to play with? ;-)

  3. He was reported in the press as being Bill Clinton's "spiritual adviser" back when Clinton was having his Monica problems, right around the time JJ was having his own love child problem. Real symbiotic relationship there.

  6. Really people... the comments are sad. Jesse certainly has his faults and is a womanizer, but now this?
Did anyone stop to wonder about the accuser? It's unfortunate people can say anything about anyone with true consequences. I hope this never happens to any of you.
@Towanda, every black kid who is from the ghetto is not a thug.

  8. I was fortunate to have a seat up front at Obama's election party at Grant Park, and Jesse was sitting a few rows in front of me, crying. I've never hated anyone more at that moment.
