Late Thursday night, several offenders attacked a man in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood, leaving their victim badly injured.
The assault happened around 11:42 p.m. on the 4200 block of North Lincoln Avenue near the corner of Lincoln and Cullom Avenues.
A citizen who witnesses the attack, said three Hispanic men beat a man on the street. The bystander also said there was a broken window at the crime scene, and the male victim was possibly cut.
Police later identified the victim as a 49-year-old black man.
An officer at the scene said the victim sustained a broken arm, several abrasions, and a cut on his face.
A motive for the beating was not disclosed.
No arrests have been made.
Police are investigating.
