February, 24, 2011, at 8:17 p.m., Chicago police officers responded to a "shots fired" call in the area of 2210 North Keystone Avenue, in the Chicago, Hermosa community.
In my initial report, posted Thursday, information provided by police dispatch reports, indicated a man was shot in an alley behind the aforementioned address.
According to Chicago Breaking News, the shooting victim was shot by police during the alleged burglary of a nearby garage.
The suspect, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was also carrying drugs, said police.
