A male customer at the Chicago, Edgewater neighborhood CVS/Pharmacy at 6150 North Broadway Street, was punched in the face by a man who also appeared to be shopping at the store, said police.
The crime was reported at 12:53 a.m.
The offender was described a white man with a beard. He was last seen wearing a tan jacket and walking northbound on Broadway, then eastbound on Granville.
According to unconfirmed police dispatch reports, the suspect was arrested at 1047 West Granville at 12:58 a.m.
A motive for the purported attack was not disclosed.
