Shooting Outside Lincoln Park Walgreens

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred outside a popular 24-hour north side store.

The shooting happened around 1:43 a.m. at the Walgreens at 1601 North Wells Street in Chicago’s Lincoln Park Neighborhood. The store is located near the intersection of West North Avenue and North Wells Street.

The victim told police an unknown suspect ran up to him and fired approximately five shots at him, for apparently no reason.

A witness at Walgreens said the shooter is an African-American man in his late teens or early twenties. The offender is about 5’10” and was last seen wearing a tan or pale yellow shirt.

  2. I don't think the victim was shot. There was no mention of an ambulance or anyone being hospitalized. Thank goodness most shooters are dumb and have bad aim.

  3. If the bangers or thugs are shooting at each other, I wish they did have better aim but I'm glad they don't when shooting innocent people:)
