Police are investigating a shooting at a Chicago Austin neighborhood gas station.
The shooting happened around 9:45 p.m. at the CITGO gas station, 1201 North Central Avenue, near the intersection of West Division Street and North Central Ave.
Based on what I have been told, (and trust me, I had to do a lot of digging) a man in black skull cap fired shots through the gas station’s window, striking another man in the face.
After the shooting, someone in a gray van dropped the shooting victim off at West Suburban Hospital and fled the scene.
At 10:07 p.m., a female police officer stopped the van at a gas station called A&H Inc., located at 5035 West Division Street.
Police are still reviewing surveillance footage at the CITGO gas station, where the shooting occurred.
